I hate writing about myself unless I'm given specific questions to answer. What I do and say will speak volumes more about me than will anything here, but I'll try to write something anyway.

Politically, I'm pretty liberal, but I have no objections to having friends with more conservative viewpoints. I'm always open for a debate, but won't try to start one if you're not interested. So unless you're prejudiced and proud of it, I don't mind if you have different opinions. I appreciate the way a person thinks more than what they think.

I'm a perfectionist, but like all people, I am far from perfect. I'm stubborn, I'm picky, and I'm anal about some lots of things. I'm also determined, friendly, and (I like to think) a decent person. I believe in "being yourself" but I don't believe that means you have to remain stagnant. I believe in changing and growing. I believe in trying not to take oneself too seriously, though that's easier said than done, I find.

Many people will proclaim that they can either be your "best friend or your worst enemy," depending on how you treat them. I can be your best friend, but I'll try not to be your enemy. I try not to seek revenge on anybody, but to forgive, if I can. Again, easier said than done, but I try.

This journal will be friends only, simply because it would be strange to have people I know in real life reading this without my knowing it. But I'm always open to having new friends, so just comment if you're interested in adding me or find me remotely interesting.
